Not only the asphalt road leads to the monastery, which is located high up on the mountain, but also a simple pilgrimage route through the valley from Istron. It is marked with a red dot. At the end the path leads up to the cliff to the monastery. Every year the faithful of the area make their procession along this path on the Assumption of Mary.
