The Quellweg is a 35 km hike.

The path connects important sources of the Huys on an approximately 35 km long circular route.
From Schillerplatz in Badersleben the route leads to Huy-Neinstedt.
On the southern edge of Badersleben are the Fröschbach spring and the Marienspring, the stream from which the “Marienbek” monastery in Badersleben was named in 1478.
At the Landgraben / Holzweg junction there is a reference to the Schmalbach spring, which can be reached on the way behind the post mill.
The path leads past the Öhlertsberg quarry to Huy-Neinstedt to the Piepenpal spring, the shape of which resembles an upturned tobacco pipe.
The path now climbs up to the parking lot not far from the glacier pots.
In a westerly direction the path reaches the Kollyteiche and after about 1.2 km a paved path that leads to Athenstedt and crosses the B79.
In the center of Athenstedt is the bathing fountain covered with a half-timbered construction.
On the way to Aspenstedt, reference is made to two other sources (Denntalquelle & Luisenbrunnen), which are 1 km away from the route.
In the center of Aspenstedt are the Backhausquelle and the Klopstockquelle, which are reminiscent of the poet Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock (1724–1803).
From Aspenstedt the Quellweg reaches the Kammweg des Huys near the Sargstedter Warte after about 2 km ascent.
From here it goes over the Jürgenbrunnen and past the Daneilshöhle to Röderhof, where the forge spring is located under a massive house structure on the southern edge. The path passes the idyllic Röderhofer pond and leads from there to Dingelstedt in the center of which the famous Üppelquelle rises under a half-timbered construction.
Via Anderbeck you get back to the starting point on the northern edge of the Huys.
