The lakes around Mittenwald are simply wonderful: crystal clear water, quiet forests, wide meadows along the banks and, in addition, panoramic views of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains. It is particularly beautiful here in autumn when the larches and maple trees around the Geroldsee slowly change color.

Wonderful bathing lake with a dream panorama of the Karwendel. On the private forest meadows on the north bank, you can lie down and bathe nicely for a euro fee.

The Geroldsee is probably one of the most beautiful lakes in the south of Bavaria. The moor and bathing lake is dreamy in the humpback meadows near Krün. The Karwendel rises behind it.
