Hoher Kranzberg

Around the Kranzberg is a very beautiful low mountain range, which with its narrow network of paths invites you to enjoy very nice, short hikes. In addition, there are postcard views of the Wetterstein chain and across Mittenwald to the Karwendel ridge.

You have to go to the summit, but only in good weather. Grandiose view with very good view. Get at least ***** stars with us

Tip for hot summer days; After the view on the Kranzberg then go to Baden to Ferchensee. At the Lautersee you can stop and then back to Mittenwald.

At the top it's really beautiful. In all directions you can see the surrounding mountains very well. For children and adults, there are again boards installed on the summit describing the mountain ranges and peaks.
Recommendation: Ascent only in good weather. The distance view is simply breathtaking 👍👍👍

360 degree panorama with Karwendel, Wetterstein and Estergebirge

The Kranzberg near Mittenwald is a rather unspectacular mountain seen from the car. But the view from the summit is well worth it, among other things, because you go to the summit only about 1:30 h. Very nice is the tour in spring, when the gentian flowers, and in autumn, when the first frost discolored the leaves.

The climb is definitely worth it, the view is fantastic.

A wonderful view of the surrounding peaks of the Alps. Also very nice sun beds up here. Unfortunately the hut is still closed.

You can linger wonderfully on the Hoher Kranzberg. In good weather conditions you can see as far as the Zugspitze.

A very nice tour. The Gröblalm at the end is definitely recommended. The paths along the lakes are very informative, I find families very well suited. Banks for breaks are sufficiently available.
