View of Gerolstein from Auberg

The Auberg is part of the "Gerolsteiner Dolomites" nature reserve. The climb is worth it. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the climatic health resort of Gerolstein.

The path to the Auberg forks, left around the slight summit trail. Arrived at the top is a railing attached. If you go right, the path ends and you are standing in front of a high rock. Now it's either turning around or climbing up. Well, I would say that you have to be really sure-footed and above all free from giddiness because there is not much space at the top of the plateau. If you slip off the stones, you can fall badly. Although you can fall everywhere or bend over but you go here aware of a climbing route up or down again, so you should be aware of the danger and really proceed with caution. (I think above all of inexperienced and older hikers - to which I also count)
