The Gafadurahütte of the Liechtenstein Alpine Club is located high above the Rhine Valley (1,428 meters) above the municipality of Planken. The hut was formerly a princely hunting lodge and was expanded into an Alpine Club hut. In the middle of the pre-Alpine region, it is surrounded by forests and pastures. Alp Gafadura is in the immediate vicinity of the hut.
From the hut, some demanding and extensive hikes can be undertaken, whereby sure-footedness - for example from Gafadura to Gaflei - is required. All information about the hut can be found at gafadurahuette.li.

The hut was originally built and used as a princely hunting lodge in 1926/27. In 1954, the hunting lodge was sold by Prince Franz Josef II to the then hunting ground tenant, Erwin Kocher. With a purchase agreement dated December 18, 1967, the hunting lodge was transferred to the Liechtenstein Alpine Association on January 1, 1968, which opened the hut after the necessary renovations on July 7, 1968. To mark the opening 50 years ago, the Liechtenstein Alpine Association (LAV) published a commemorative publication ("Gafadura Hut") in 2018 and a star hike to the Gafadura Hut was held on July 7, 2018.
