A forgotten hiking trail. Still a challenge to get off the better paths and discover. A dry deep stream has dug itself into this piece of nature reserve. Watch out in humid weather, the hiking trail is very narrow on a certain part and the deep stream beckons. Still an adventurous path.

Hiking
The Zeeploop is a side course of the Grote Nete. It flows through Balen, Mol, Meerhout and Geel. Because of its negative influence on the valuable nature reserve De Duivelskuil in Mol, located in the European Habitats Directive area and the very difficult accessibility for annual maintenance, with all the negative consequences that entails, it was decided to move this watercourse over a distance of almost one kilometre.
