    Trinity Chapel

    "Kapellerl"

The late Baroque Trinity Chapel in the shooting range is on the bridge over the Rosenbach, on the edge of an approximately 250-year-old oak grove. It was built around the middle of the 18th century (at the latest in 1760) by the “Agony of Christ Brotherhood” or “Brotherhood of the Good Death” of the parish of St. Mary. Since then (with a few decades of interruption) it has been the starting point of the foot pilgrimage to Gößweinstein, which takes place every year on the Friday and Saturday after Corpus Christi. The brotherhood was founded in 1711 on the initiative of the Sulzbach princes Maria Eleonore Amalia (1675-1720) and Theodor Eustach (1659-1732) under the parish priest and dean Johann Georg Silberbauer (1668-1719).

It is also a listed building.

Rarely used and open with the old trees around it and the location on the Rosenbach a gem.
