Very nice, shady beer garden. Note opening hours! A visit to the small but fine stalactite cave is definitely worth it.

Open Easter to October. Guided tours take place on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 10am and 5pm. The beer garden is located in the middle of the forest, wonderfully refreshing on hot summer days.

Excerpt from the homepage osterhoehle.net "The cave was provided with an artificial entrance for the visitor's business in 1905. The first Waldschänke, today's kitchen, dates back to 1905. In 1935, the tavern around the wood cultivation became its present form The first written mention of the cave was around 1630. In 1783 it was reported that the youth of Sulzbach migrated to the cave on the Easter holidays. And from the year 1789 even a detailed description of the extensive corridor and space system is available.
The restaurant has space for about 50 people. The rustic tiled stove provides even in bad weather for hut atmosphere. "In the shady beer garden you can enjoy cool drinks and hearty snacks. The starting point for interesting hikes, stopover on bike and mountain bike tours.
