The mill is built into the farm's outbuilding. The mill window is protected by a grille. The water comes from the Simmersbach and is stored in a pond (approx. 250 m up the valley). The water is led overshot to the mill wheel's bowls through a pipe of the same length and a wooden channel (barge).
