The returnees from World War I erected a memorial in 1920 for their 14 fallen comrades, the hero's grove. The silence of the forest, the babbling of the brook and the gaze of the Mother of God make the visitor thoughtful. A beautiful complex of two war memorials in the middle of the forest that commemorates the 14 victims of the First and Second World Wars from Würgau. A bright and quiet place with a stream and a fountain. Reminds the hiker in Corona times that there are worse things.
