The view from the wine hill is breathtaking. From the Kaider quarry, your gaze wanders over the mountain ranges of Franconian Switzerland to the Lautergrund rehabilitation clinic, over the Schwabthal to the Alten Staffelberg and to the Staffelberg, the Franconian mountain. On my hike in early August, I was able to admire hundreds of silver thistles right on the hiking trail.

Hiking

The wine hill impresses not only with its view of the Sulligknöcklein, the Staffelberg and the dolomite quarries. You will encounter a landscape with an almost Mediterranean flair on this survey. There comes a bit of Italy feeling.
