The Rotemse mill is a watermill on the Velpe, located at Gidsenstraat, 24 in Rotem, a hamlet of Halen.
This undershot mill functioned as a flour mill.
The mill was built on behalf of the sisters of the Mariënrode Abbey, probably shortly after 1422. Research showed that the original mill had been destroyed and that the oldest parts of the current mill date from 1646. It was built until 1715. A new south facade was built in 1777. In 1924, a tower was built against the mill to serve as the owner's summer residence. His son moved there permanently and added a wing. The business continued until 1961 when the axle of the wheel broke. The design was maintained and in 2005 the mill and its surroundings were protected as a monument or village view
