The renaissance castle Kromsdorf was built in the 16th century by Georg Albrecht von Kromsdorf. A special feature is the castle park wall with 64 busts.
Today, the castle mainly offers function rooms and temporary exhibitions.

Special feature of the otherwise rather simple Schlosspark Kromsdorf are 64 sandstone busts embedded in the Schlossparkmauer. The idea came from Baron Johan Theodor de Montaigne, who had the busts of internationally known personalities of the time from the Emperor of Japan on European nobles to the last Inca rulers built in 1664 in the wall.
