Here a block of sandstone with an elaborate stone cross reminded of the murder of a young pregnant woman by her lover. The cross stone, like other stones or pillars, was destroyed during exercises by the US Army in the 1960s. Today's stone is reminiscent of the historical hall monument.

Many dark acts have been committed in the Reichswald.

The cross stone recalls that once a young lad drowned his pregnant bride in the nearby Sambachweiher.
