When you have fought your way up the mountains, you think you are no longer in this time - Tecklenburg with its castle ruins is enchanted. A wonderful place and worth a visit in both summer and winter. But there is a lot going on on Sundays and public holidays.

An impressive castle ruin at the gates of Tecklenburg's old town. The trip is definitely worth the effort. A few meters further on there is Paula's organic snack bar right outside the city gate.
