Location: Lindlar, Oberbergischer Kreis, Bergisches Land, Cologne District, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
The railway line from Bergisch Gladbach to Bensberg was opened on October 15, 1870; the railway from Cologne reached Bergisch Gladbach on December 4, 1868. On September 29, 1965, the railway stopped passenger traffic between Gladbach and Bensberg, and in 1989 freight traffic. A reactivation as a freight track with transshipment in the Zinkhütte industrial park ended in 2012. The last journey on the tracks was the diesel V60 locomotive, which came to Bergisch Gladbach in September 2019 with "Rheingold" wagons.
