Cycling

Nice fountain opposite the old town hall. According to the inscription, the fountain was built in 1703, destroyed in 1945 and renewed in 1952. The eponymous sculpture, which is partly described as a lion and partly as a bear, dates back to 1744 according to the inscription on the base of the sculpture.
Note: In the city map the fountain is described as "Lion Fountain", which is why I have named the title here as well, even if the city of Neuenstadt itself speaks of the "Bear Fountain" on its homepage.
