The entire forest path runs on the sandy edge of the Wallsbek. In between, views open again and again on the lush green riparian vegetation of the Au. On one section you will walk through the Autal and then the path goes over a bridge over to the other side of the Au. Here has my a beautiful view of the Au and can watch from the bridge as the Au flows leisurely towards Schafflund. Here grow the typical moisture-loving plants and trees such as alders, willows, snowball, meadowsweet and the bright yellow iris. Back on top of the sandy shore, the trail leads through coniferous forest, which is broken up by birch, beech and oak trees. The path always runs in close proximity to the Wallsbek, although one could get the impression through the narrow path and the conifers, one would run somewhere "deep" in the forest. At the next bridge over the Wallsbek we continue along the shore towards Schafflund. Information boards about the "living mill stream" with its rich flora and fauna are explained here. Shortly before the Schafflunder mill, the Wallsbek and the Meynau unite to the Schafflunder Mühlenstrom. And here ends this charming trail along the Wallsbek
