The Bärenbrucher pond is a popular destination. The famous Harz Hexenstieg leads over the dam. In the refuge is the stamping point 137 of the Harzer hiking nobility. On the banks numerous root paths lead along, which invite again and again to contemplative breaks.

Romantic paths through marshes on small ditches with beautiful horsetail and mosses, secluded, hidden (swimming) places

The Bärenbrucher pond is a very beautiful Harz pond. South of the dam, a forest runs along the shore. Here you will find in the soft grass and moss great opportunities for a snack. On the northern shore, a root path leads you to other ponds and the inner-leap. On the dam is a refuge and a place of the Harzer hiking nobility. The Harzer-Hexen-Stieg also crosses the dam.

One of the most idyllic spots at the beginning of the witch's climb. There is a stamp office of the HWN 137 at the beginning of the dam.

Insanely beautiful pond to rest. Actually, I wanted to continue on my first visit there 25 km, but somehow I have there 4 hours. sat and spent photos and dozing the day at the pond.

A nice rest stop in the hut! Gorgeous the view over the pond. Located on Hexenstieg, as well as a Stempelstelle (137) of the Harzer hiking nobility.

Definitely run the small trail on the north shore, which is much more exciting than the wide forest roads.

In good weather, there is no reason to crawl into the hiking hut - quickly get the stamp, and then let your feet dangle in the pond. On the northern shore, there is a hidden little trail that is much more exciting than the wide trails.
