At the moment (autumn 2020) the forest on the banks is still in very good condition. This gives the pond a romantic flair.

Hiking

The Bärenbrucher Teich is a very beautiful Harz pond. To the south of the dam, a forest stretches along the bank. Here you have great opportunities for a snack in the soft grass and moss. On the northern bank, a root path leads you to further ponds and the Innerste jump. On the dam there is a refuge and a point of the Harz hiking pin. The Harzer-Hexen-Stieg also crosses the dam.
