The Eselsplatz is the first larger resting place for you if you come up here via the Harzer-Hexen-Stieg from Osterode. In addition to a charcoal burner's hut, there are other places to sit, including on two wooden donkeys that you can try out here. 😉 If you are a supporter of the Harzer hiking pin, you will find a stamp here. If you are looking for short, crisp climbs, then visit the Eselsplatz from the Sösetalsperre or from Lerbach.
