The Weidener hut, which used to be called Nafinghütte, lies at 1,799 meters above sea level and is surrounded by quiet side valleys with spruce and Swiss stone pine forests. Flowery alpine meadows characterize the environment of the huts and the slopes of the alpine roses bloom in a soft red. Above the hut rise the peaks of the Tux Alps, offering magnificent views of the Zillertal mountains and the rugged ridges of the Karwendel.
