The red-beige painted tea temple is located in Bad Kreuznach, in the middle of the vineyards. From there you have the best view over the whole of Bad Kreuznach to Rheinhessen. The small house was built by Baron Andreas van Recum in 1820. The romantic view (best at sunset) plus the disintegrating time signs give the tea temple the flair that it needs, so it just does not look cheesy, but dignified and casual at the same time. You can get there via the Nachtigallenweg on the Nahe. From there, a path leads to the tea temple: past the historic Hotel Quellenhof through the vineyards. Or on the serpentine path in the castle park to the plateau on Kauzenberg, where it goes a little below to the tea temple.

The little detour is always worth it. Mainly because of the great view.
