Tips
The Sägemühlenteich is located in Braunesumpftal on the slope of the goat head southwest of Blankenburg old town, about a kilometer from the Great Castle. Its former purpose is still clearly recognizable by its name.
The only a few meters high pond dam is about 90 meters long. The water behind it measures around 60 meters in length and 80 meters in width.
Surrounded by dense mixed forest sawmill pond is popular with anglers. For persons with the appropriate permission, it is possible to remove fish of different species from the water.translated by
