The Hněvín is today a popular destination. The castle houses a hotel with a restaurant, a public observatory and an open air theater. From the summit of the castle hill opens a panoramic view of Most, the southern slope of the Ore Mountains, the heights of the Bohemian Uplands and the North Bohemian Basin.

The striking hill with the old fortress Hrad Hněvín (Landeswarte) from the 12th (also 9th) century now has a restaurant in a historicizing-romantic guise (built in 1906 on the foundations of the old castle). Still very pretty. Only one snack bar was open today. The castle was built by the Hrabischitz family, and thanks to its good strategic location it was repeatedly besieged but never conquered. - Great view of the Bohemian Uplands with many individual peaks and castles.
