Hiking Highlight (Segment)
During a hike or a walk, the impressive natural beauties of the High Fens are particularly easy to discover. For this purpose, paths and wooden walkways were laid through the raised bog. To protect the unique flora and fauna, however, access is regulated and divided into three zones. Certain zones are only accessible in the company of recognized nature guides.

The Walloon Fens are worth a visit at any time of the year. Please do not leave the existing footbridges in order to protect the flora. Please plan enough time, you can spend endless amounts of time admiring the fen landscape and always discovering new and interesting things.

Signal de Botrange 694m, UN Country High Point.
I walked this along with Kneif 560m (Luxembourg) and Vaalserberg 321m (Netherlands) so that I could say I did the Benelux three peaks in one day.

A flat forest and duckboard walk through lovely countryside to take in Belgium's country HP. The duckboards take you over marshland and even though it is very flat we enjoyed ourselves. Parking and restaurant at the start and at the summit/top.
