The Hörnumer southern tip sinks slowly in the sea. Every year, considerable parts of the Odde are eroded by storms and disappear forever. Tetrapods: The last attempt
These 6-ton concrete vehicles are intended to help weaken the enormous power of the North Sea. Around 2,000 tetrapods are intended to protect the Kersig settlement in Hörnum from beach erosion and storm surges.
