The dancing linden tree in Limmersdorf is around 350 years old and a protected natural monument. The eight-sided dance floor on octagonal house pillars, which is marked with the year 1729, is on the list of architectural monuments. Presumably planted in 1686, it is the oldest of the Upper Franconian Tanzlinden. At a height of 18 m, their trunk diameter is about 1.30 m, their trunk circumference about 4 m. The crown has a diameter of about 13 m. The dance floor and the musicians' house rest at a height of 3 m on 8 sandstone pillars.
