The double name of the church refers to Peter, one of the leading disciples of Jesus, and to Paul, the apostle of the mission to the Gentiles. Both namesake are depicted on the altar barrier.
The church is located in the middle of the village idyllic between trees. Opposite is the castle of the family von Spörcken, close to the church the former old rectory and the former school of the parish.
The church is a brick-built late Gothic hall with polygonal choir end. Around 1700, the family von Wittorf, then owner of the castle, designed the church baroque. 1873, the western part of the nave and the tower were prepared neo-Gothic.

Peter and Paul Church in Lüdersburg
In the 15th century, the nave and choir of this church were built in late Gothic forms that are barely recognizable today. On the curved low barrier in front of the altar you can see her two patron saints in front of you: on the left the apostle Peter with his symbol, the key, and on the right the apostle Paul with the instrument of his execution, the sword.

The baroque interior (pulpit, altar and prieehe = patronage stalls) was donated around 1700 by various members of the von Wittorf patronage family. The neo-Gothic church tower was built in 1873 in place of a wooden belfry.
