Here is the workshop of Dr. Gunter v. Hangens, in which the preparations that are shown in exhibitions around the world are manufactured. He is the inventor of plastination, a permanent method of preserving dead bodies by replacing cell fluid with reactive plastics. The weekend is open and you can watch the "specialists" at work. Only animal bodies are plastinated in public. A visit is worthwhile if you are not negative about the process. The exhibition also has a very great learning effect.
