An ordinary traffic and pedestrian bridge that connects the Linzergasse and the Kapuzinerberg with the old town. A memorial stone reminds that it was built by prisoners of war during World War II.

The Staatsbrücke is one of the three central bridges over the Salzach in the city of Salzburg and connects the town hall (Altstadt) with the Platzl-Linzer Gasse (Old Town (right bank of the Salzach))
