The Victory Column is in Babelsberg Park, at a vantage point overlooking the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Höhe. The Generalsbank is also just a few meters away from the Victory Column.
King Wilhelm I - later Emperor - had the Victory Column erected in 1866. The column commemorates the victory of the Prussians against the Austrians in 1866.
