Wogau is a district of Jena in Thuringia.
Wogau is located in the Gembdental, through which the Gembdenbach flows.
The district boundary of Wogau is about 600 m east of the town and is also the eastern boundary of Jena for the Saale-Holzland district with the neighboring municipality of Großlöbichau. North of the village, the B 7 runs between Jena and Bürgel at the foot of the Jenzig mountain range, which is around 380 m high.
