Hotel Deutscher Kaiser * Backerstrasse 18
The Hotel Deutscher Kaiser can look back on a tradition dating back to 18A7, when a hostel already existed in almost the same place next to the former city gate.Originally built as a two-storey hotel building, the addition of one storey, the addition of a lavishly designed hall and later a grotto reflect prosperity and a new type of leisure activity in club society towards the end of the 19th century.
At the turn of the century the house was a social center of the city.
The Brinker family ran the hotel and restaurant from 1913-1993. The interior decoration and the historic hall are of particular value.buergerverein-perleberg.de/dtkaiser.htm

Hotel Deutscher Kaiser The historic Hotel Deutscher Kaiser has been an accommodation facility here since 1847 and has been one of the leading hotels in the area ever since.
In 1913, the hotel and restaurant was taken over by the Brinker family, who ran it for three generations through wars and political turmoil until 1997.
After the house was taken over by the new owners, the refurbishment of the property was completely completed, both inside and outside, taking into account monument preservation issues.
In particular, the historic Kaisersaal, which is unique in the region, is an example of the "Belle Epoque", which experienced its heyday around 1900.
On the occasion of a visit to the garrison stationed in Perleberg, Crown Prince Wilhelm came to this house in 1913 and stayed in the Prince's Suite.buergerverein-perleberg.de/dtkaiser.htm

The most beautiful room in the historic part is the Emperor Suite. In this particularly luxuriously furnished room you can be transported back to the time of the emperors and empresses in Europe.
