COMMERCIAL BUILDING BÄCKERSTRASSE 20
The corner building was built in 1902. The adjoining building with the proud dome and flagpole was completed in 1906. The facade, richly decorated with stucco, combines elements of art nouveau, baroque and classicism.
A similarly remarkable structure made of steel with little masonry can only be found in Perleberg in the building at Bäckerstrasse 1.
This made it possible to set up open-plan offices right from the start. Extensive renovations took place in 1999 and 2000.
