The lighthouse List Ost stands on the elbow and is identical to the lighthouse List West. They differ only by the tower height and the paint. Slightly larger and with a red band around the waist, the lighthouse List-Ost presents itself. Both beacons stand in a dune chain, which is under protection.

The List Ost lighthouse here at the Elbow is the second northernmost lighthouse in Germany after the List West lighthouse. It was built in 1857 and put into operation on January 1, 1858.
Together with the beautiful beach, it is an absolute must for a photo!
Close to the lighthouse, you can lie in the sand in the dunes.
Here you can relax and unwind and enjoy the view of the landscape.July 14, 2019

The lighthouse in the eastern part of the Sylt elbow is unfortunately only visible from (not too large) distance.
