I would like to point out that seven hours from Zugspitze to Alpspitze is already extremely ambitious. The rule walking time is ten hours.
Due to many accidents of "normal" via ferrata walkers, it has been decided to reduce the steel rope fences on the part between Zugspitzgipfel and bivouac box as far as possible. This part has a very alpine character and is not a via ferrata.
The Jubigrat is a serious alpine undertaking that can be extremely dangerous, especially in ice / snow or when the tide is thundering. There is only one emergency descent to Knorrhütte in Gratmitte on the more than eight kilometers long ridge. The 3er Kletterstellen are in the upper part between Zugspitze and bivouac box. Recommended walking direction from Zug to Alpspitze or Grießkarscharte.

A very nice, to be recommended tightrope walk. However, the hike is not suitable for everyone, there are many unsecured climbing passages and the distance over which the ridge stretches should not be underestimated.
Definitely recommended for experienced, sure-footed and absolutely free from vertigo alpinists. It is best to take the first gondola up the Zugspitze to be ahead of the big people.
