Lienz is a medieval town in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is the administrative centre of the Lienz district, which covers all of East Tyrol. it can be reached by bike from San Candido (Italy) with the famouse bike trail San Candido-Lienz and can back by train (3-4 hrs ride/50 km)
