The more demanding, more adventurous ascent from the Dolomitenhütte to the Karlsbader Hütte. Partly secured with ropes, just before the Hoher Törl it is quite rocky and steep, sometimes a bit exposed. But for experienced hikers it is a dream compared to the direct route or even the boring road. Alpine experience and appropriate footwear required.
