      hi Guys
Invite you to join me on this wonderful hike with various swimming opportunities in the Feldaist valley.
The hike starts at the Gaisbach / Wartberg train station, which can be reached from Linz with the Summerauer Bahn.
You can then get back to Linz from Pregarten station.
The hike is also suitable for YOUNG and OLD people and their children, who can experience beautiful nature adventurers here.
The entire hike through the Feldaist Valley is currently largely in the shade of the GREEN ROOF of the trees.

hi GuysInformation about this MTB tour.I have expanded this MTB tour for me, so one or the other information is missing from the description and deviates from the standard route.Brief description
A great tour with many heights and alpine pastures, with fantastic views and resting places. Crossing borders without passport control - half Upper Austria, half Styria.
      difficulty
      heavy
      description
The most important stops: from Altaussee to the Blaa Alm, to the Rettenbachalm, on to the Grabenbachalm and to the Hütteneckalm - the highest point (1240 m). Down to the Halleralm, then to the Michlhallbach (archaeological excavations), to the forest ditch and to the ruins of Pflindsberg.
      Directions
From the Altaussee municipal office we drive back towards Bad Aussee and immediately take the first junction to the right to the toll station on Loser Panoramastraße. Once there, we drive on the gravel road to the well-known and beautifully situated Blaa Alm, past the high rope climbing park "omunduntn". When we arrive at the Blaa Alm, we first turn right and then immediately left down into the Rettenbachtal (attention: steep section with coarse gravel), down the stream to the tunnel (a lamp may be necessary) and out to the Rettenbachalm.
After about 2.3 km we turn sharply to the left and drive over a bridge in the direction of Grabenbach. Now we climb steadily above the Grabenbach to a right bend, past the Grabenbachhütte and after a short flat section to the left up to the Hütteneckalm. The forest road ends here and the MTB path leads across the alpine pastures to the Hütteneck hut. From the hut the path leads us steeply down onto a forest road. Here we ignore all branches up to a larger field. Then we drive on the asphalt road to a forest and pay attention to the junction to the left, which leads us to the Halleralm.
Passing above the Halleralm, a forest road later joins our road from the valley. We go straight to the end of the street. Now we have to be cross-country: a narrow path leads down to the right to the Michlhallbach, which we cross on a narrow footbridge. We come across a forest road again, on which there is an archaeological excavation site on the left - finds from Roman times.
We continue straight ahead to the end of the street and there take an earth path down to the Waldgraben (formerly Gasthaus Sarsteinblick). Still straight ahead to the crossroads of the forest roads, then we drive half-left over a moorland to the fork of the trail, which leads to the Pflindsberg castle ruins (from there a wonderful view over the Ausseerland) and down to the Rambühel. From there we drive back down on asphalt to Altaussee. At the former Scheichlmühle inn, we turn left again towards the lake and, in good weather, can treat ourselves to a bath at the Seeklause next to the Hotel Seevilla. We then continue towards the church along the road and thus get back to our starting point, the Altaussee municipal office.show more

A few more requests - nature and wildlife will thank you and the bike experience will be an even better one:
