Museum ship from 1937
From spring, Neanderland will have one more museum: In a museum ship, an elevated Aalschokker from 1937, the history of eel fishing on the Rhine will be told interactively, excitingly and authentically in Monheim am Rhein. The "Fiat Voluntas" was used for eel fishing on the Rhine near Neuss for almost 40 years until the turn of the millennium.
