Tips
Opposite the Mayschoss train station, an unofficial path goes initially through vineyards and later as a path with an alpine character up to Ümerich. From there you have a beautiful view down to Mayschoss and Altenahr with the Engelsley

Very nice vantage point with a view of the Ahr Valley and Mayschoß.
The hiking trail up to the summit cross is beautifully rocky and interspersed with roots.
Good surefootedness, up there, should definitely be available. The path is not easy to see in places. The arduous ascent is rewarded with a beautiful view.translated by•February 27, 2022
