The parish church of St. Josef in Stadtkyll dates from the beginning of the 16th century and has been repeatedly burnt down over the years, but has always been rebuilt. Today's building dates back to 1823 and is built in the classical style. The church survived World War II almost unscathed. In 1996 it was thoroughly renovated again. Inside the church there is a high altar from the second half of the 18th century, the altar cross, which was blessed by John Paul II in a private audience in 1996, and several saints. Also of note are the stained glass windows depicting various saints and a total of six paintings hanging between the windows depicting the Joyful Rosary and the Adoration of the Magi. A nice little church in the middle of the village with a square in front of it. In the evening everything is beautifully lit.
