Unfortunately, we can not use the Steinerne Brückle because of the danger of collapsing, so we cross the stream over some large stone blocks.
The barrel-vaulted sandstone quarry bridge marks the old Kirchweg from Oberkollbach to Altburg. The boundaries of the large parish were fixed since 1573, the places of the so-called> Reichenbacher office <, which were formerly part of Hirsau, were looked after by the saint-caretaker of St. Bartholomew of Pletschenau (Hirsau) until 1648. The bridge is already drawn in on the "Charter of Wirttemberg" drawn by Bohnenberger in 1798. Due to its simple form, it is difficult to date it, and it probably seems that it was created in the 18th century. "

The history of conservation:
A small, but nice bridge, to which you get the physics (why does this old thing last?) Clearly explained!

Best to visit in the afternoon, because the sun is ideal in the valley.
The Schwarzwälder Bote quotes the local researcher Hartmut Würfele from Calw on September 2nd, 2016:
The barrel-vaulted bridge made of sandstone quarry stone masonry marks the old church path from Oberkollbach to Altburg. The boundaries of the large parish had been fixed since 1573, whereby the places of the so-called ›Reichenbacher Amt‹, which formerly belonged to Hirsau, were socially cared for by St. Bartholomäus von Pletschenau (Hirsau) until 1648. The bridge is already marked on the ›Charte von Wirttemberg‹ drawn by Bohnenberger in 1798. Because of its simple shape, dating is difficult.
