In the middle of the Mannheim / Viernheim-Käfertaler Wald (Panzerwald) lies a huge bunker area of the US Army. The bunkers are all cleared and are z.T. open there. They are partly freely accessible. It is even better to tackle the tour by bike, as the forest and grounds are quite spacious.
