Nice tour :-)
...and nice bike :-)
It looks familiar somehow, I bought a similar one in August.

Completely unprepared, just a route in my head, and I hadn't even checked it.
A while back, I'd spotted a book at the museum ticket counter while waiting in line. It featured an illustration of a landmark that resembled Stonehenge. The photos were fantastic. So I saved this highlight as a destination

After a long break, today we took a leisurely tour through beautiful Alsace.
While in Germany there were gray clouds, fog, and occasional rain.
From the main road, we could see from afar that the sun was shining on us in Alsace today, and that's exactly what happened.
To start, we had tart, croissants

Once all the bikepacking weight is off, Nebula feels truly athletic again.
A quick and short ride this year around the Sattelfest.
I've done enough cycling this week.
At the end, I got a tattoo on my arm.

Day 4 and the final day. Today, the city of Mulhouse and Basel lie before me.
The tent is completely dry, as is the ground.
I made breakfast and coffee.
And I watched the bats early in the morning, probably playing catch like little children. I've never seen anything like it before; they flew over my spot

Day 3, the night was hell again. Freezing cold and freezing.
Luckily, I fell asleep at 9:30 p.m. when the cold hit me again at 2:50 a.m. So I had a few hours of sleep. I was awake again until 7 a.m. and then fell asleep for an hour.
By the time I was up to operating temperature, made cereal, made coffee

Day 2, the first night in a tent. I have experience with that, but not when traveling by bike and luggage is a luxury.
My gear was, as mentioned on Day 1, for midsummer. Nice and thin and relatively light.
I was freezing, I'd never been so cold. The sleeping pad was okay, but the sleeping bag was way too

It started three weeks ago. My girlfriend sent me a screenshot that summer temperatures of up to 31 degrees Celsius were supposed to arrive between September 15th and 21st, when I also have time to do something with my free time. This was the last chance for a bikepacking trip I really wanted to do this

Also immer in Bewegung bleiben bei Minusgraden. Highlight war Schwäbisch Hall und Waldenberg.

Es ist wärmer? Kein Regen? Ich kann mir Zeit nehmen? Dann spontan aufs Rad. Schick. Im Wald, merklich kälter. Also wieder runter.

A really beautiful route! I should drive it sometime, it wouldn't be that far...
