    Hiking

The park was originally known as Bukit Larangan or 'Forbidden Hill' in Malay. Today, the 18-hectare area offers countless attractions, from ancient artifacts for history buffs to grassy areas for concerts and, of course, greenery for nature lovers. The charming boutique hotel Fort Canning is also located here.
There is also the Spice Garden, the ASEAN Sculpture Garden and the Battle Box, a former subterranean WWII military complex.

    Hiking

Quite large and hilly park in Singapore with rich colonial history. Descending on the flag staff side gives a nice view over part of the city. It can be pretty crowded with tourists, especially around the bunkers.

    Hiking

On the hill called "Bukit Larangan" lies the 18 hectare "Fort Canning Park". His name is reminiscent of Lord Charles John Canning, a British statesman and first viceroy of British India.

The park is a wonderful place of rest in the middle of Singapore with many historical sights.

Highlights in the park include the Fort Canning Center, the Battle Box (WWII bunkers), two Gothic gates, Keramat Iskandar Shah (historical tomb), Raffles House and the Spice Garden, the city's first botanical garden from 1822 ,

Escalators lead down to the National Museum of Singapore.
