Chinatown, like all of Singapore, is a multicultural and colorful place. Hindu temples and mosques sit right next to Chinese temples. Highlights include the Sri Mariamman Temple, the Jamae Mosque, and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple.

Chinatown is colorful and bustling ... the temples have to be seen from the inside ... in some places it "smells" of the durian fruit ... it is forbidden to take the durian on the MRT (S-Bahn from Singapore) to take.
