Sweet little Altstandt in a typically relaxed Danish atmosphere. By the way, there are the best hot dogs in the area

The small, pretty Danish town of Tønder is just across the German-Danish border. The small town forms the center of the Tønder municipality and almost 8,000 citizens live in the buildings, some of which are still historic. Vacationers and tourists are most enthusiastic about this, of this nostalgic charm, which can be found on every corner, especially in the old town.
In addition to a number of well-preserved patrician houses, there is also "Det gamle Apotek" (in English "The old pharmacy"), which today offers a very special shopping experience in over 40 rooms.
Shopping is really celebrated in the small town anyway, there are boutiques, specialty shops and shops with very different displays everywhere. Restaurants and bars invite you to relax and the Tønder Festival, which takes place every year on the last weekend in August, is known throughout Europe.
So there is a lot that makes Tønder a varied place. It's worth stopping by here - I can recommend it.More detailed information:dk-ferien.de/reisefuehrer/daenemark/sueden-nordsee/tondern.html
