The former forestry and guesthouse of the Princes of Putbus has housed an information center on the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Southeast Rügen since 2004. The current exhibition in the Granitzhaus is interactive, stimulating curiosity and thought-provoking. Visitors can expect, among other things, a "treasure trove" of very special treasures from the region. There is also an animation on a 3D model of the region's post-glacial development, which also vividly illustrates the settlement history of Southeast Rügen and the development of the Baltic Sea. Admission to the exhibition is free. You can find more information here: biosphaerenreservat-suedostruegen.de/de/willkommen/das_granitzhaus.
